Guidelines for In Person WOrship

On September 13th, we started back In-Person Worship with some Covid Safety guidelines which you will find below.   We currently are offering two Worship Opportunities at 8:30am (traditional) and 10:30am (contemporary) on Sunday Mornings.  Both services are held in The Beacon to allow for appropriate spacing.

  • Temperatures will be taken at the door (99.5 or less)
  • Reservations are not required but attendance is registered at the door each week for contact tracing purposes.
  • Masks are required and social distancing is expected at all times.
  • Families will be seated together following distance guidelines.
  • If you or someone in your household is feeling under the weather, please stay home and worship with us online.
  • Patience is requested as we continue to work out these logistics.

Do No HArm POliCy

Since reopening, we have continued to be guided by directives from our federal, state, and local government officials, as well as the recommendations of health care professionals in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. There is much to consider in preparing for reopening our church buildings. Our Conference has developed a document "Do No Harm: Recommendations for Reopening Our Church Buildings" to assist in decisions about when and how to reopen. This resource emphasizes the importance of context in determining feasibility of in-person gatherings. Factors to consider include the congregation’s: 1) demographics, 2) location (how many COVID-19 cases are in its county?), 3) size and 4) capacity to follow CDC standards about sanitation and social distancing. The document also includes guidelines for worshiping safely. The document may be viewed by clicking this link:
